My Philosophy

This may seem contrary to good business sense, but serving out of imbalance is the basis for all doctors and Applied Kinesiology. Our goal is to get you better and get you on your way. Not to see you repetitively or excessively. Dependence may be good for business but it's also a sign the job isn't being done properly. When done properly, you've helped the patient in need with the full confidence they'll refer you more individuals in need, which there are always an abundance of!

My purpose is to firstly get you out of pain, then to find the cause of your symptoms. By utilising an all-natural, whole-body approach; I can help to rebalance your body. To do this, I use several different techniques which address your body holistically in an attempt to locate any potential imbalance(s) on all levels. It is a hands-on 'vitalistic' approach which utilises the best of both Western and Eastern techniques.

The power that made the body, heals the body. it is a self-healing mechanism. What I do as a practitioner is identify deficits and/or weaknesses in the body's nervous system. Be it structural, chemical (nutritional) or mental (emotional); or in combination. Then by helping to support these areas with specific technique protocols, we can allow the body to heal itself. This whole-body approach allows for safe, effective and long-term results.

Certified & Specialized in Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology is a diagnostic & treatment technique which incorporates the use of manual muscle testing to assess functional neurology (What is Applied Kinesiology?). Put simply; by testing various muscles for strength & weakness we can get an insight into any imbalances structurally, chemically and mentally. This dynamic testing gives the doctor immediate feedback to the overall functional state of the body. And indicates the most appropriate therapy to be applied. Therapy needs to be directed toward any or all areas of potential imbalances.

Applied Kinesiology (A.K.) draws together the core elements of many complementary therapies and thus provides an interdisciplinary approach to health care or for a "total person" concept of health. Therapies utilized can include specific joint mobilization, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian therapy, clinical, nutrition, dietary management and various reflex procedures.

My Mission

By being a facilitator of healing as well as an educator, it is my goal to help empower my patients, and to lead them into the ongoing process of health and wellness. Improving ourselves structurally, chemically and mentally should be the goal of both practitioner and patient. Ultimately these improvements enable us to effectively make healthier choices in our personal lives, in the lives of our families and in our communities.

What Techniques Do I Incorporate To Achieve This?

I utilize a combination of techniques. Firstly, I'm certified & specialized in both the diagnostic and treatment procedures in Applied Kinesiology (What Is Applied Kinesiology?). This training gives me the skills to accurately assess and treat traumatic injuries, minor injuries and systemic imbalances in the body.

Additionally, I use proprioceptive reflex work and somatic exercises to resolve and / all of the neurological imbalances associated with your injury.

What You Should Expect During Each Consultation.

Listening thoroughly every consultation to the kinds of symptoms you are experiencing is a priority. I go through a complete diagnostic exam and explain to you what I find, what it means and what I believe we do about it. I thoroughly explain how my treatment protocol will help to resolve your health issue at its core. We both want to get to the root cause of the problem.

After a proper medical history and applied kinesiological diagnostic exam, I'll start with treatment that we've discussed and that you now understand. As we get the results, we both expect, I'll listen to all your questions and try to educate you on what you can do for yourself to keep you from seeing me often.

And if we don't get results and I feel your issue is not within my scope, I have no problem referring you to a colleague in the attempt to achieve this.
